Cancer Immune Surveillance and Therapeutic Targeting

Objectives

The immune system is one of the main barriers protecting our body from the development of tumors. However, the immune system can also under certain circumstances facilitate tumor development by mechanisms still little known.

Our objective is therefore to identify these mechanisms involved in the subversion of the immune system by cancer cells and to develop strategies based on the identification of the immunogenicity of the different forms of cell death and by the reactivation of immuno-surveillance mechanisms

The tumor models we are working on are breast and ovarian cancer and melanoma.
