Computational Biology Platform
Context
The CRCL’s computational biology platform provides the teams of the center, as well as external collaborators and service providers, with expertise, analysis and modelling tools to support those involved in fundamental and clinical research at the key stages of their projects: identifying new targets, characterizing modes of action, creating digital twins, stratifying patient cohorts, etc.
The platform is linked to the Léon Bérard Centre’s computational biology department, recently set up by Arnaud Bonnaffoux (former founder of systems biology start-up Vidium) and Elsa Guillot (former CTO of Vidium).
Activity and missions
- Integration of multi-scale biological information into digital twin models.
- Complementary multi-omics analyses of the Gilles Thomas Bioinformatics platform, via the modelling of digital twins.
- Facilitating dialogue between biologists and data analysts using ‘ready-to-use’ analytical tools.
- Developing and training biologists in analytical tools integrated into our TWIST (Trajectory Wave Inference Simulation Tools) platform.
