CRCL Green Lab
The CRCL Green Lab was created in January 2020 to reduce the environmental impact of CRCL activities and raise awareness among its members of more environmentally-friendly good practices within laboratories. The Green Lab is made up of around 30 active members divided into 3 working groups responsible for waste management, energy flow management and communication with CRCL members.
Some actions already implemented are: waste sorting throughout the center, including the installation of recycling garbage cans in the laboratories; changing the temperature of freezers from -80°C to -70°C to save more energy; the installation of posters throughout the CRCL on waste management, also available on the Green Lab extranet page for downloading; the setting up of a place for the exchange/recovery of consumables, reagents and laboratory equipment; …
