Transcriptomic profiling of the tumor immune microenvironment
What do we do ?
Focusing on immune parameters, our group specializes in the analysis of genomics and transcriptomics profiles in the tumor microenvironment and their integration with clinical insights. By collaborating with Gilles Thomas’ bioinformatics platform, we accelerate discoveries that advance precision medicine.
Scientific lead
Christophe Caux is an immuno-oncologist recognized for pioneering work on human dendritic cells (DC), chemokines, and Toll-like receptors leading to strategies to manipulate DC and reactivate anti-tumor immunity. His research also aims to identify immune surveillance and escape mechanisms and to develop therapeutic strategies for solid tumors. Through the LICL, C. Caux pursued targets such as ICOS, CD39/CD73, oncolytic virus for drug development and performed immune-monitoring of original immunotherapy approaches.

Techniques
- Multi-omics analysis using WES, bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq analysis from an immune perspective
- Integration of scRNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics to generate state-of-the-art immunomics insights
- Survival modeling (Cox regression) linking transcriptomic, genomic, spatial transcriptomics, and immune features to clinical outcomes.
